Jive Turkey BBQ Bistro was founded in 2013 by co-owners Gerald and Manisha Richardson. A native of Washington, D.C., Mr. Richardson grew up around fast-paced living in a fast-paced city. Unique food-fast was the norm of most take-out restaurants in the D.C. area.

 

After moving to Eastern North Carolina, with over 25 years of restaurant hospitality experience birthed the idea of healthy cuisines on a food truck platform. Hence the phenomenon of Jive Turkey BBQ Bistro, specializing in turkey bar-b-que.
